Disney heeft aangekondigd dat het tweede volume (het tweede seizoen dus) van de geanimeerde serie Star Wars Visions vanaf 4 mei op Disney+ staat. Nadat het eerste seizoen genomineerd werd voor een Emmy Award en heel veel mensen wist te bekoren door de creatieve afleveringen en uitdagende verhalen, brengt het tweede seizoen negen nieuwe afleveringen van negen verschillende animatiestudio’s. Elk met een andere stijl en een andere visie op de franchise.
Daarnaast heeft Disney laten weten welke studio’s dit keer een aflevering hebben mogen creëren binnen de wetten van Star Wars Visions. Dit zijn El Guiri (uit Spanje), Cartoon Saloon (Ierland), Punkrobot (uit Chili), Aardman (Verenigd Koninkrijk), Studio Mir (Korea Korea) Studio La Cachette (Frankrijk), 88 Pictures (uit India), D’art Shtajio (Japan), en Triggerfish (uit Zuid Afrika). De aflevering van D’Art Shtajio is gemaakt in samenwerking met Lucasfilm zelf.
